The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers for the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is sassa status check to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The company position produced for intervention activities a superior influx of prospective beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to allow the servicing of all shoppers and maximize access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
